2001 & 2004: 9/11, Son, Navy

 

 

For My Son and His ShipMates aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.

The following articles were written for my son who was in the United States Navy Boot Camp from August to October of 2001. He entered the Navy during a time of peace, and graduated Boot camp 4 weeks after 9/11. He served on the aircraft carrier, The USS Abraham Lincoln, from 2001 to 2005, serving in three war operations, and humanitarian operations in Bande Ache, Sumatra, Indonesia immediately after the Tsunami of December 26, 2004.
